About us
Society of Somali Community in Malaysia was formally established in response to the growing presence and evolving needs of the Somali diaspora in Malaysia. The organisation was founded to serve Somali students, families, professionals, and vulnerable individuals, providing a structured platform for community representation, coordination, and development. Since its establishment, SOSOMCMY has worked to foster unity, solidarity, and mutual support, while preserving Somali cultural and religious identity and promoting positive integration within Malaysian society.
